Bridgnorth's MP Philip Dunne dropped in this week to see for himself the Bridgnorth Old People's and Good Neighbour Association Monday Wednesday Club and Bathing Project. The Project's day centre has recently been renovated with help from volunteers and Community Service probationers ahead of an Open Day on Monday 23rd October from 2pm to 4pm at which all are welcome.

The Bathing Project is the only one of its kind in the whole country to be run entirely as a charitable enterprise, without local authority or NHS management.

Mr Dunne said: "I was most impressed by the dedication of those volunteers who provide this vital lifeline for many of the most vulnerable elderly people in our community. They always need more help, so I urge anyone interested to go along on Monday to see why the Project is so worthwhile."
