The purpose of National Will Week is to highlight to the nation the importance of having a Will, and the potential consequences of dying intestate.

Making a Will is a relatively simple process. Despite this, a recent survey showed that over two-thirds of UK residents currently do not have a Will, and more than half die intestate.

Mr Dunne said; 'I urge all of those who have yet to make a Will to do so. Having a valid Will in place is essential locally to ensure control of how an estate is divided. Otherwise it is possible that your entire estate could go to the Crown.'
