Philip Dunne visits Burford Church of England Primary School and congratulates them on securing 'Safer School' status.Philip Dunne, MP for Ludlow, recently visited Burford Church of England Primary School where he was shown round the school by head teacher, Jill Grant, and former chair of governors, Ron Padwick.

Mr Dunne presented a Safer School certificate and sign from Shropshire County Council and West Mercia Police. He talked to year 6 pupils about his job as Member of Parliament and answered some lively questions.

Mr Dunne said: "I was asked very good questions by the children who seemed to take a genuine interest in my work as a Member of Parliament.

It was good to see Burford school securing Safer School status."
