Countryside Alliance Awards Voting Now Open

Ludlow MP Philip Dunne urges residents to cast their votes for the Countryside Alliance Awards for the best local businesses in and around South Shropshire.

This year the Countryside Alliance Awards are encouraging local customers to support their local businesses by voting for the finalists. This is a way loyal customers can reward independent local businesses who provide excellent service and value for money to their residents.

By voting online you can support your favourite business in the regional contest to help them progress to the national finals. If they are fortunate, they will go on to represent the Midland region at the House of Lords in the National Champions Reception in May.

These prestigious awards are a fantastic way to showcase and celebrate our local businesses across the country.

Commenting on the Awards Mr Dunne said:

“As a former winner of an award from the Countryside Alloance myself, I would encourage everyone in Shropshire to vote for their favourite local business. Those in the running include the Kings Arms in Church Stretton, Yarpole Community Shop (just south of Ludlow) and the Wyre Pie Company across the river in Tenbury Wells.

“This is a good opportunity for local residents to show their support for the hardwork and commitment shown by local rural businesses, who deserve recognition”.
