Philip Dunne MP has congratulated Ludlow care home Hendra House on winning Employer of the Year at the Care Accolades 2019.
Mr Dunne welcomed the team from Hendra House to the House of Commons ahead of the awards ceremony to wish them good luck, having visited the care home in Ludlow after the New Year.
The Employer of the Year award follows a string of national and local awards for Hendra House, including being awarded Gold in the Investors in People accreditation scheme.
Mr Dunne said: “It was good to welcome the Hendra House team to the House of Commons, to wish them the best of luck for the Care Accolades 2019.
I saw first hand the excellent standards they set for both care and employment at Hendra House during my visit in January. So I am delighted they won Employer of the Year, and congratulate management for this brilliant result in a prestigious national award”.
