Select Committees
Since elected in May 2005, Philip has served on three select committees:
Work and Pensions Select Committee, 2005-2006
Public Accounts Committee, 2006-2008
Treasury Select Committee, 2007-2008
Philip was appointed an Assistant Opposition Whip in October 2008, having become a frontbencher he resigned from these Select Committees.
