Ludlow Parliamentary Candidate calls for Fair Deal for Small Businesses
Cllr Philip Dunne spoke out in the debate on Business and Enterprise at the Conservative Party Conference in Blackpool this week.
He called for an incoming Conservative Government to reduce red tape stifling British business.
"This Labour Government is milking British business for all it can and is rapidly driving our manufacturing industry abroad" he told conference delegates.
He backed proposals announced by Tim Yeo, Shadow Secretary of Trade and Industry, to cut regulation and halt the rise in red tape on business. "Business people I talk to in Bridgnorth and Ludlow are fed up with the way this Government imposes more and more obligations on business. They resent the way loony-tune regulations from Brussels are supported by Labour and Liberal Democrat MEPs then gold-plated by Whitehall bureaucrats. We need to give British workers the skills business and industry need and create the right balance in trade union rights."
