Ludlow New Voices prepare for Festival Competition
Ludlow New Voices are preparing for their first competitive concert when they take part in the youth choir class at the Oswestry Youth Music Festival on 5th March. The Choir's President, Philip Dunne MP, dropped in on a rehearsal last week to lend his support to their efforts.
Mr Dunne said: "Ludlow New Voices provides a tremendous opportunity for youngsters in the Ludlow area to develop their musical talent. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing a little of what they will be singing at a short competitive performance on 2nd March at Broad Street Methodist Church, Ludlow (7-7.20pm) and then at the Eisteddfod. The Music Director, Patrick Larley, is a great motivator and is clearly able to bring out the best in members of the choir. I wish them well next month!"
