Dunne celebrates TASS funding from Co-operative
Philip Dunne MP was on hand last week in the Auction Yard in Craven Arms to celebrate the award to the Tenants Association of South Shropshire of funding to help take their meetings to tenants where they live in villages around South Shropshire.
The award of £450 was made by the Co-Operative movement to help improve contact between TASS and its members, many of whom find it difficult to travel to meetings in Craven Arms.
Mr Dunne said: “I have supported the Tenants Association of South Shropshire for several years and was delighted to help celebrate their award of funds from the Co-Op to make it easier for members to raise their concerns with TASS, in particular for those with limited mobility.
This funding will enable TASS to hold meetings in villages, where many of its members live, around the south of the county.”
