Philip Dunne MP has welcomed news that Shropshire is to benefit from almost four million pounds of funding to ensure children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision (AP) receive an education that meets their needs in high-quality environments for the years to come.
Waitrose and Co-op have become the latest supermarkets to launch ‘Best of British’ sections on their websites in the ongoing cross-Party campaign, supported by Philip Dunne MP, which called on the nation’s supermarkets to make it easier for consumers to buy homegrown produce.

Last week the Prime Minister declared his intention to make the UK the ‘Saudi Arabia of wind’ energy, powering every UK home with offshore wind by 2030. This is a visionary ambition. But it misses another massive opportunity - without a substantial rethink of our export strategy, we could fail to grasp the full economic benefits of the brave new world of clean energy which we can lead.
